I turned a 10-year passion into a new career

 

 

For the last 10 years I have been buying houses in the Westport and Fairfield areas.  I’d buy a house, fix it up and rent it out. Because Fairfield and Westport are such desirable areas, there has always been a great rental market. These houses have turned out to be wonderful investments for my family and me.  I’ve also sold a couple homes that I’ve lived in and bought new ones as the space demands for my family changed. For many years I’ve been checking the new market listings every day looking for potential properties to add to my portfolio.

 

Right as I was celebrating my 18^th anniversary in advertising (my first career that began after graduating from Union College), I met my wonderful husband; we got married and had a terrific son. It was after the birth of my son that I decided to “retire”.

 

After taking a few years off, I decided I wanted to get back to doing something, but knew advertising wasn’t “it” anymore.  My husband suggested that I get my real estate license and make my daily hobby, my new career.  I knew he was 100% correct.

 

So I took all the requisite classes, passed the state exam and went to work with Prudential CT Realty of Westport.

 

Because of my 10-year background as “the customer”, I am uniquely aware of how clients want to be treated.  I approach every deal as if it were my own. My attention to detail is outstanding and I am committed to extremely thorough service for all my clients.
